This privacy policy sets out how Rising Citizen uses and protects any information that you give Rising Citizen when you use this website.

Rising Citizen is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Rising Citizen may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 27/01/2017.

  1. To add or edit documents in this site: Contact information including email address, first name, last name, and user name.
  2. This site uses tools that collects your requests for pages and passes elements of them to search engines to assist them in indexing this site. We control the configuration of the tool and are responsible for any information sent to the search engines. Our tools do not send your personal information to the search engines.

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways: whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for marketing purposes. if you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to or emailing us at hello@whitefielrising.org. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties, which we think you may find interesting unless you state explicitly not to receive such emails by writing to hello@whitefieldrising.org

13 Indemnification

You understand and agree that you are personally responsible for your behavior on the Site. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Rising Citizen, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, joint ventures, business partners, licensors, employees, agents, and any third-party information providers to the Service from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs (including, but not limited to, direct, incidental, consequential, exemplary and indirect damages), and reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from or arising out of your use, misuse, or inability to use the Site, the Service, or the Content, or any violation by you of this Agreement.

14 User conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to take any action that might compromise the security of the Site, render the Site inaccessible to others or otherwise cause damage to the Site or the Content. Rising Citizen does not want to receive confidential or proprietary information from you via the Site. For all Submissions, (1) you guarantee to us that you have the legal right to post the Submission and that it will not violate any law or the rights of any person or entity, and (2) you give Rising Citizen the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, distribute, display and create derivative works from the Submission, in any and all media, in any manner, in whole or in part, without any restriction or responsibilities to you.

16 Password Security

If you register to become a Rising Citizen.com member, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your member identification and password information, and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your member identification and password.

17 General Provisions

a. Entire Agreement/No Waiver.These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. No waiver by Rising Citizen of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.

b. Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies.The Content may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. Rising Citizen therefore reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update the Content at any time without prior notice. Rising Citizen does not, however, guarantee that any errors, inaccuracies or omissions will be corrected.

c. Enforcement/ Choice of Law/ Choice of Forum.If any part of this Agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, it will not impact any other provision of this Agreement, all of which will remain in full force and effect. Any and all disputes relating to this Agreement, Rising Citizen's Privacy Policy, your use of the Site, any other Rising Citizen web site, the Service, or the Content are governed by, and will be interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.

d. Claims of Copyright Infringement. Rising Citizen Education Pvt. Ltd. ("Rising Citizen") respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask our users to do the same. Rising Citizen may, in its sole discretion, terminate the accounts of users who violate other's intellectual property rights.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes infringement on Rising Citizen's web site, please provide the following information to Rising Citizen's email address hello@whitefieldrising.org:

  1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
  2. a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
